This questionnaire is for all CEF Digital 5G Corridors projects to update the online information about their project and help future projects.

The objective is to elaborate the purpose and objectives of the projects, the solutions they are implementing, the progress of the 5G corridor deployment and the opportunities to replicate the solutions in other locations.

A special focus is to capture processes that can be used as a “blueprint” for future projects. Determining the replicability of a solution, and documenting the methodology, could save similar implementations significant time and money.

The there are four versions of the Questionnaire adapted for the 4 categories of 5G Corridors Projects:

  • Call 1 Studies
  • Call 1 Works Projects
  • Call 2 Studies
  • Call 2 Works Projects

and, depending on the project there are up to 6 different sections where the questions have a different focus, namely:

  • Technical, Replicability, Deployment, Regulation, Operation and Best Practices.

The projects should respond to as many questions as possible.  More than one answer might be relevant in some questions.
There may be cases where certain questions do not apply to a certain project. In that case the particular question may remain blank.
For the “Other” choice, responders should add some text to explain their answer.

    Replicability Section (5 Questions)


    Replicability here means the possibility to easily replicate an implementation on one corridor in another corridor with or without CEF support. It helps to understand how easy one implementation can be replicated and if there are possible cost savings.

    Replicability of solutions may address multiple dimensions that could enable the portability and scalability of solutions developed in projects for other cross-border locations throughout Europe. Dimensions such as: Technology, Data, Markets, Geography, Acceptance, Regulation/policy, Sustainability, Financial and the Ecosystem dimension, including cooperation models, i.e. how to get stakeholders from different industries to work together?
